Sam is a molecular biologist with 15 years of experience in the field of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies. He earned his PhD in molecular virology from the University of Cambridge, following which, he spent several years in academia, developing innovative NGS workflows tailored to meet the demands of unique and challenging applications. Before joining the Broken String team, Sam served as the R&D lead scientist at XGenomes, a startup working on the development of a unique sequencing platform.
