Qin holds a BSc Biomedical Sciences degree from Queen Mary University of London and an MRes Cancer Biology degree from Imperial College London. She previously worked at CytoCell as a Research Scientist developing fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) probes, a diagnostic technique used for detecting a range of chromosomal abnormalities. Additionally, Qin has previous experience at Novogene where she prepared DNA libraries for whole exome sequencing.
