Neil holds a MSc in Chemistry from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Organic and Chemical Biology from the University of Manchester. Over the last 15 years Neil has worked within the Synthetic Biology and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) fields, in both an academic and a biotech setting, producing multiple patents and publications along the way.
